Summary

Grants focused on supporting nonprofit arts and culture organizations. The grant funding is intended to strengthen organizations whose work supports arts, culture, and leadership initiatives that foster equity, creativity, and community vitality.

Eligible applicants are nonprofit organizations (501(c)(3) or fiscally‑sponsored arts groups) whose mission is centered on public‑facing arts programming. For many of the programs, applicants should have three or more years of consistent public arts activity, paid staff at least .5 FTE, and an annual operating budget of at least about $50,000 (though exceptions for very community‑centered groups may be considered). Individuals or for‑profit businesses are not the target for most of these opportunities.

Grant awards vary depending on the program: for example, unrestricted operating or project support grants are capped at about $60,000 for certain quarterly grants. Smaller technical‑assistance grants exist in the range up to $5,000 for planning, consulting, or training. Capital grants (for facility or infrastructure projects) may be larger and are typically reserved for organizations with established relationships with the foundation and strong project readiness. In some cases, awards in the tens or hundreds of thousands are noted for major capital campaigns.

The funds may be used for general operating support or project‑specific work in arts and culture that advances equity, access, and community impact. For the capital grants, funds may help with facility improvements, artist live/work space, or other infrastructure that expands access or capacity. Does not generally support scholarships for individuals, endowment building, or religious‑purpose activities.
